Even if SP2 is the 2’s counter type, they still have a core of pride and a sense of privilege and entitlement. While the SP2 is described to not have obvious pride, it’s mainly because they don’t show their pride to OTHERS. (Also a symptom of DPD, which was compared to E9.) SP2s are dependent on others as well, but one main reason why they are is they believe they deserve affection from others. Connor believes he has to hide his true beliefs and real self otherwise he would get bullied, and he agrees with the imaginary bullies that his true self is weird- contradicting SP2 as SP2 is a type that believes they deserve love for being who they are without needing to pretend to be someone else. SP2 is also a type that tries to have an independent facade, which Connor clearly does not attempt at doing. He does grow to be more independent, but he does not bother to prove it to anybody, clearly as many people believe he depends on Bentley for everything. He is also not an SP2 because of his childlike personality or “cutesy”-ness. His childlike, innocent personality is not a facade or a survival strategy like that of an SP2 but just his personality and his innocence is an effect of his learning disability not being assisted for so long.

背景

Very dumb and naive, often teased by his peers for it, and also very dependent on his “best friend” (boyfriend), Bentley’s, validation and dependent on him in general. Although he might be deemed as annoying, he still has a big heart, pure soul, and is very optimistic.
