Personality

What personality type is Bruce Banner "Hulk" (Norton)? Bruce Banner "Hulk" (Norton) is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - - 514 in Enneagram, in Big 5, EII in Socionics.

An introverted person no doubt with first letter as "I". Strong toward what we call as harmony of others, think about when he tried to commit suicide for the sake that the beast inside him will not be able to cause destruction anywhere, showing a good "Fe" example along with more scenes where he has a very positive and good behaviour toward people. He even asked general to leave him so that he could fight abomination. He didn't wanted the hulk inside him to be used for political purposes by military, thus kept moving and tried to find out many solutions for his problem (erasing hulk or the green parasites in his blood cell). This is what we expect a "Fe" user to show. He did not seemed to be fond of any external stimulation which gives him an inferior "Se", which probably hulk controls, making him a dominant "Ni" user. Mostly people argue with "Ni" dominant characters but to be honest, it is the most mystical function which has to be found out with an alternative way like we did here. "Ti" at the position of tert, but wait he is a scientist, right? Most of the scientists have "Ti" at Dom, aux, or tert (tert grows and becomes strong as we all mature). And finally, inferior function something we hate mostly but use it under stress, like Bruce. Now coming to the enneagram, many people may confuse between 5w4 and 5w6. I must clarify that Bruce did not seemed to have a wing as type 6 to be honest. People may argue that he was always ready for adrenaline rush situations where he may need to move. And was prepared for challenges he knew he may face. But tell me one thing, who won't be prepared for such challenges when it comes to such life threatening situations? No matter how good or bad the plan to tackle the situation is. Wing 4 generally shows a good attitude toward people, he was friendly INFJ but also much more introverted than the most INFJs. So that's why he is one of the best portrayal of a INFJ 5w4 fictional character. Empathetic, calm & a good thinker. Kudos to Edward Norton for his good performance as "Dr. Bruce Banner" in "The Incredible Hulk". He shows how naturally an INFJ (5w4) behaves when being themselves, being curious with high melancholic characteristics.
