What personality type is Handsome Jack? Handsome Jack is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sp - 387 in Enneagram, SLOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
As an ENTP, it pains me to disagree with the general consensus. But I believe him to be an ENTJ. My main reasoning comes from the end of the game when (spoilers) Handsome Jack has failed in his mission. We see him rely on introverted feeling. He spouts off about his own self image, his own boundaries and moralities with “...I am the goddamn hero.” An ENTP in this situation would fall back on introverted sensing. An ENTP would fall back on the past. Handsome Jack has plenty of past mistakes to fall back on, yet he instead, in a moment of crisis, relies on morality and identity.
Biography
Handsome Jack is the main antagonist of Borderlands 2, and the deuteragonist of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. He has taken over the Hyperion corporation, declared himself dictator of Pandora, and stolen all of the credit for finding The Vault, going so far as to claim responsibility for killing The Destroyer. A new team of Vault Hunters is tasked with killing Jack and restoring (relative) peace to Pandora.
