First Impressions —> MBTI: Ne-Fi-Te-Si: I very much appreciated how the new, unique art direction (the graffiti in the city, the visuals of the text conversation with Bruno, the planning sequence) was highly demonstrative of Khan’s expansive imagination and her strongly inherent passion for superheroes; tertiary Te might have been evident in Khan’s more “territorial” assertion to her parents that she wanted Avengerscon to be exclusively her and Bruno’s thing. —> Enneagram: 7w6 sx/so: Something else I highly appreciated from this first episode was just how very *realistically* characterized Khan was, Type 7’s motivations for satisfying novelty and to be free from a negative state of mind was very well encapsulated in Khan’s desire for the superhero fandom experience, but having to contend with her parents’ safety concerns; and yeah, a dominant Sexual instinct ultimately made sense as Khan sought an internally stimulating fusion with her idealization of Captain Marvel, the Self-Preservation Blindspot being made clear at the episode’s end when her mother was sad over the fears that her daughter was neglecting her family, home life, and unfocused on self-developmental stability. —> Overall, I was extremely pleased with how realistically characterized Khan was, thankfully giving Ne-Fi-Te-Si with an Enneagram 7 a much more nuanced personality rather then the more stereotypical delegation to cartoony zaniness. Thank you.

Biography

Kamala Khan is a student at Coles Academic High School and a fan of the Avengers, particularly Captain Marvel. Possessing dormant genetic powers that were activated when she wore a bangle of unknown origin, she became a superhero in Jersey City dubbed Night Light by the public before being known as Ms. Marvel.
