𝐈𝐒𝐅𝐉 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐘𝐀 𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 it’s time to divulge into dissecting the current ISTJ 6w5 consensus for bronya. note that my opinion is mostly subjective despite being based on objective evidence, and is highly subject to change; however, i hope this argument is worth your time, and may change your perspective! [1/7] 𝑰. 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒚𝒂 𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝑭𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝑻𝒆 to begin off with, extroverted feeling acts in accordance with group-based standards. it focuses on the emotional state of others, and the well-being of the group over the individual. a Fe-user searches for external values within a group in order to guide their decision-making and to preserve harmony. they have a high awareness of social values, and are attuned towards others’ state of mind. ✦ "If "feeling" is evaluation (assignment of value, "good", or "bad"), then extraverted feeling is evaluation divorced from the subject and remarried to objective factors. It will never trust its own subject to make evaluations, fearing the narrowness and selfishness of personal bias. It is not interested in what seems good to itself, but always in what is good for everyone else, collectively. It therefore shares with extraverted intuition a highly democratic and compromising nature, settling on an averaged, commonly agreed set of laws (codified by introverted thinking). These laws are considered objectively "good" for everyone involved, and their goodness is confirmed through external feedback, i.e. through people's observable reactions." bronya is highly attuned towards adhering towards values from her external environment, and her actions are inclined towards general harmony and the group-accepted standard. where Fi predominantly has a single judge fuelling their judging process, bronya constantly considers the judgements of those around her as her decision-making process, as Fe and therefore the Fe/Ti axis typically does. take her relationship with cocolia- bronya’s values have been instilled into her from cocolia and the surrounding environment in general. these values lead bronya to make decisions based on the group collective, displaying the attribute of multiple judges instead of a singular judge. if bronya was influenced by cocolia because of the system surrounding the supreme guardian, that might be considered as Te, but instead bronya’s objective values were influenced by cocolia. i would also like to stress that it isn’t only high Te-users who value laws and rules. this seems to be a common misconception that has been reiterated time and time again on this page, in order to “disprove” bronya as a Fe user. actually, Fe-users are perfectly capable of stressing the importance of rules if they benefit or affect collective harmony amongst their communities, and this is a quality that bronya demonstrates. extroverted thinking is a function that attunes itself towards the collectively proven, while extroverted feeling is a function attuned towards the collectively accepted. Te’s judgement is based on what has already been proven, while Fe’s judgement is based on what the majority agrees on. Te is the objective thinker, who’s logic is adhered from proven, reliable logic systems and rules, whereas Fe is the objective feeler, whose logic demands it comply towards external judgements and opinions. ✦ "Fe / Ti [...] runs between what one, of oneself, deems rational and consistent, versus what others' needs are claimed to be. There is no "I need" in this function; there is only "I must". Others' conditions inform one's actions; one feels compelled, obligated, required by a metaphysical law, to act in a certain way. And this does not necessarily mean an obligation to be "nice". Rather, it is an obligation to act according to reasons that are consistent with all possible states of affairs. Thus, to it, Te / Fi seems like egotism and solipsism, the way of animals."
