This man is an enneagram 3! I'm telling you, he's the worst, unhealthiest one of all time LOL, but he's 100% a 3. He might be masquerading as a 6 on the outside because he's an ISTJ, but deep in his core, internal motivations, he's driven by 3. The entire game exists because of his core driving desire to be viewed as having worth by achieving success in the eyes of society. He values his own self-worth by his external achievements, but as someone who was set up to be entirely average, he was (or he perceived himself to be) unable to ever achieve any worth as a person, any external validation by becoming competent, impressive, talented, or successful. He saw this failure as so core of a failing that he himself had no value whatsoever as a human being if he couldn't achieve what society deems as success, and with no self-worth OR hope of obtaining it, he saw his situation as so hopeless that he took a huge risk, sold his own self to Hopes Peak, and compromised who he was as a person to obtain talent, skill and success. He needs and wants to be better than everyone, and he could not live with failure. He took a HUGE risk to do it. That's not a fearful, risk-avoidant e6 at it's core. That's a desperate e3.
Biography
Hajime Hinata (日向 創) is a student of Hope's Peak Academy's Class 77-B, and a participant of the Killing School Trip featured in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. He doesn't remember his talent at the beginning of the Killing Game, so his title is the Ultimate ??? (超高校級の「???」 lit. Super High School Level ???).
