What personality type is Emperor Zurg? Emperor Zurg is an personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - 386 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
SPOILERS AHEAD Zurg is motivated by the pursuit of perfection rather than being worthy of his triumphs. He is angry at himself because he believes he was responsible for taking away Alicia's chance at a life he thought was perfect. Because he did not go through the same experiences as the new Buzz, with whom he shares the same enneatype, Zurg does not realize that Alice's life was perfect as it was, and he opposes the new Buzz for not sharing his ideas (disintegration to 4). In real life, a person's enneatype does not change from birth, and during his path to maturity they learn and disintegrate or integrate with the respective two enneatypes. But in fiction, writers can take the liberty of changing the enneatype of the same character. So, although I wrote a comment about why I think Buzz is enneatype 1 instead of 3, I still wrote one more in this profile to explain why I think Zurg's enneatype didn't change, and that he just hasn't integrated into 7 as the new Buzz.

Emperor Zurg (also known as the Evil Emperor Zurg or simply Zurg) is a recurring antagonist in the Disney/Pixar Toy Story franchise. He is the sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance and the archenemy of Buzz Lightyear.
