What personality type is Otto? Otto is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 729 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Otto went above and beyond to get the zodiac stone back to Gru and the others after messing up. Initially, he planned on keeping the rock he received from the kid because he fell in love with it, but after realizing that he’s messed everything up and that nobody agrees with his actions, he decides to undo this damage. This just screams Fe dom to me: The general consensus, the shared moral value of this situation is “The stone is important and we need it”, so Otto adapts this exact approach to judge the situation. (The “making sure everyone’s alright” part also explains my ESE vote) To make everyone happy, he starts to act recklessly and impulsively as he pedals across the country through any weather condition without ever stopping once. That’s Fe-Ni-Se to me. Not only that, but he also acts very thoughtless throughout the whole movie (like trading the zodiac stone for the rock), which makes me believe he has at least some pinch of Se inside of him.
Biography
Otto is a dutiful minion who plays an important supporting role in Minions: The Rise of Gru. He is usually mocked and ignored by the other minions, especially Stuart and Kevin.
