What personality type is Satone Kaidou? Satone Kaidou is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sp/sx - in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
(old thought) About me, I think ESTP is what fits Satone most. Se-dom: Seem like we didn't have to figure this out because it's self-explained. She is a reckless girl who consistently seeks more and more gambling. And why does she wants to gamble? She doesn't do this for money (she doesn't value it). Just the thrill from it is enough to make her satisfied. Next, she is highly observant of the environment and able to notice extremely little change happening before her. This is why no one could cheat when gambling with her. Take the situation in chapter 61 as an example. Although Yuuichi had already tossed his coin in a very "tricky" way, she could tell its exact location. This was a great indicator of high Se. However, due to inferior Ni, she is prone to jump into dangerous gambling without considering its risk or forgetting the "big picture" behind it. Ti-aux and Fe-tert: Se is the most prominent thing in Satone. However, it's more difficult to tell about her middle functions. In my opinion, she is a Ti-Fe user, and I will explain it. First, I want to talk about her eye for people. You may link it to Ni, but I would link it to Se-Ti-Fe if I were you. She might be the black sheep at school, but she doesn't seem oblivious to others' feelings. The problem is that Satone knows too much. She understands that nearly all of the girls in that school are "fake" and just want to make use of her. Second, her analysis in chapter 70 is Se-Ti-Fe based (and a bit "hunch" from inferior Ni). She quickly seized the information around her. After that, she uses her internal logic (Ti) and her understanding of human nature (Fe) to get all of them to safety. Thirdly, I want to talk about her relationship with Kaidou Tsukasa - her adoptive father. He is the most important person to her, so she wants to protect him at all costs. However, when he is ready to sacrifice himself to support her bet (chapter 62), her confidence quickly returns. She knows that he will die if she fails but still moves forward. In other words, Satone doesn't want to upset him in anyways. This point out that she is a Fe-user. If she was Fi-dom or Fi-aux, she would be more hesitant in this situation. Maybe the thrill from gambling is fun, but sacrificing her beloved one for it... is somewhat out of place. Ni-inf: The least prominent one in Satone's function stack. Nevertheless, she still has a healthy relationship with it to some degree. She may not be the person who comes up with a big vision like Yuuichi. However, if her Ni-inf (instinct) calls her out for something, she will follow it.
Biography
Satone has an uncanny intuition, allowing her to completely dominate any gambling games and immediately know who's trustworthy or not. The one thing that stops this from being a Story-Breaker Power is that she's perfectly willing to bet on what's most entertaining, not necessarily what would pragmatically benefit her.
