okay, HEAR ME OUT… she loves to read purely for enjoyment, tradition, and stimulation. the question is HOW is it stimulating her.. I'd say she uses it as a form of escapism and building of her inner world. she is extremely knowledgeable, but if she were an INTP, the Ti - Si and inferior Fe would work to build a system through which to look at the world rationally. Ne being used to gain experiences about people and why/how they act. INTP’s are often labeled as socially inept/ unaware but that dishonors their function stack. INTP 9s can be quite socially aware when they want to be, such as Tadano (Aggretsuko), Froppy (Boku No Hero Academia), Gale (Breaking Bad), and honestly any character if you look up INTP 9w1. choosing not to conform and immersing yourself in your interests ≠ being socially unaware. And so it doesn't make much sense for Elianna to be so unaware of her social surroundings. This can also indicate social subtype blindness. having Fi + 9 can be tricky because 9s suppress emotions unconsciously, though as an Fi dom, it will come out eventually and much sooner and stronger than perhaps other types. This explains her distance from Christopher those 4 years because she had assumed she was a “fake fiance” because of the wording he used about their “deal” and exchange of services. A miscommunication but one she seemed not to question more about in those 4 years. she could’ve asked why he would choose her to make a deal with and not anyone else? Instead, she ruminates and tries to reframe her negative emotions into a positive opportunity to read as much as she can. Though she tries to spin it, she is obviously uncomfortable and ashamed at being a “fake fiance” and what’s more Fi than being uncomfortable being inauthentic? Anyone can have a difficult time coming to terms with falling in love with someone. It doesn't mean she's completely out of touch with her emotions. I argue the opposite. She tried pushing it back until she couldn't anymore rather than being unaware of them.
