What personality type is Eiden? Eiden is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - sx/sp - 279 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
With the recent event showing us a bit more of Eiden's past, and Eiden being the main theme, I feel more confident to finally type this character. At first I thought he was ESFP and blindly saw him as someone irresponsible who just throws himself into things, I even thought he possibly looked like a Fe user just because of a good use of Se/Te to interact like he does with others. However, as the story has progressed, I could say that this character is an ENFJ and here's why Please take in mind that not every individual is a typical example of their type and, thus, won’t necessarily resonate fully with the “generic average” type descriptions that are commonly found around the internet. Eiden may not be seen as a Fe dom (or at least not at first) mainly because he doesn't seem like the typical over-ethical leader, who is constantly giving moral lessons to others, but who shows himself to be someone very open and understanding who in the end leaves moral decisions to others, without trying to impose his ideals and allowing free will. However, at the end of the day, Eiden does not use Se dom, nor does Fi (although it seems so because he doesn't get involved in the affairs of others). Eiden isn't mainly governed by exploring new sensations, but he does present this behavior, having tertiary Se. Extraverted Feeling gauges emotional impact to promote a sense of harmony with the world. It maximizes feelings of camaraderie and connection. It encourages empathy and compassion. This protagonist came from another world and the only thing he has done throughout his journey is accept that he now has an important role to play to help others, and easily connect with people, prioritizing social harmony. Fe is known for being a judging function based on feelings of harmony with the world, using emotional connection to feel part of something bigger than oneself (Eiden has expressed a lot of gratitude and happiness for those around him, for how they have received him), using feelings of disharmony to derive value judgments about unacceptable behavior (like when he first met Kuya). And, honestly, I never saw a single moment where Eiden prioritizes his own feelings and ideals in any situation, nor does it seem that he really has a cognitive process that analyzes in depth his subjective emotional world. ENFJs are naturals at knowing how people feel and understanding emotional motivations Healthy ENFJs are kind, comforting, nurturing, supportive of people Mature ENFJs are known for their ability to unite people. They are usually found addressing interpersonal conflict through dialogue and compromise, preferring to get everyone on the same page to achieve win-win scenarios. At their best, they are compassionate, forgiving, have great negotiation skills, and always try to bring out the good in themselves and others. Regarding Ni, I was hesitant, but after seeing the event I was able to connect things. In his birthday event we see that he had a not very developed Ni, he tends to focus too much on the negative or what is lacking (Little Eiden in the orphanage refused many things with the excuse of "why should I do this if in the end things will end this way?") , overconfident/arrogant about the depth/truth of one’s “insights”. But having it more developed "Ni" can help him to accurately interprets implications and the ideal path forward, learn knowledge in a comprehensive and well-rounded way, careful about avoiding incomplete/incorrect conclusions, reflects on personal beliefs/values to ensure meaningful direction, possesses a genuine desire to make the world a better place. Also an immature ENFJ, due to Fe, can suffer chronic shame/guilt issues (Which is how Eiden felt, despite knowing that he was acting according to the imposed social norms). Also, why SLUAI?
