What personality type is Sonia? Sonia is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - so/sx - 539 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
I'm not understanding the ENFJ votes here. Is it because of her appearance? Unsure, but to me, ENTP was clear as daylight. The way Sonia is so invested in researching Pokemon, how she wishes to expand her knowledge about Pokemon and really has fun in doing so, to me, is so indicative of an ENTP 5. She really wishes to get things right and has many theories about the history of dynamaxing, the Darkest Day, etc. She loves exploring new unknowns and loves the discovery aspect of it all. Sure, she has good Fe, but when Fe is used healthily in an EXTP, such can appear to be Fe dom. 3 > 2 in her tritype is due her wanting to be more than Magnolia's assistant and really wanting to prove herself to her. She does help Hop and the MC out a bunch through the story, but that's because they're a sort of medium for her to obtain information on. Plus 3w2's (which is what I believe 3 represents in her tritype) have a tendency to, not only uplift themselves and achieve greatness, but encourage others to achieve. 3w2's cheer on and really believe in people. Throughout the entire game, her pursuit of logic is not only for her own personal benefit, but for the benefit of others. 3w2's love when they're not only successful, but they're successful and it helps other people. As for 9, I think this is 9w8. 8 I can understand but overall, I think Sonia's more of a 9. She lets things happen, takes orders from Magnolia, and prefers to let others do more hands on work. She's more of a researcher and so when things such as that occur, she prefers to leave it to Hop and the MC to fix, albeit feeling guilty about it. When those sword and shield weirdos come into the mix though, Sonia's w8 is really present, showing that she won't back down from this problem. Because it's causing her, Hop, and MC so much trouble, she decides to take action and really tries to fix the problem. These are just my thoughts though. A 2nd opinion would be nice.
