What personality type is Artificer? Artificer is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sx/so - in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
With the Wizard being the archetypical INTP and the Warlock being the archetypical INTJ, I actually think the Artificer is the archetypical ENTP. My Artificer characters so far were all ENTPs or ENFPs with strong tertiary Te.
Biography
Artificers specialize in making magic items, whether by crafting permanent items over a series of levels or by infusing ordinary objects with utility spells. Originally introduced as a wizard subclass, Artificers were fleshed out into a full class in the "Unearthed Arcana: Artificer" article. From there they went through several feedback-driven revisions and overhauls, eventually solidifying as a more powerful and versatile class.
