What personality type is Ed O'Brien? Ed O'Brien is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - so/sx - 926 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
High Fe user for sure but I'm still torn between both xNFJs. His Se is pretty present on his Instagram account by the way he's constantly imploring others to go out and experience nature themselves (or reality as he calls it) but that could also just be due to him being at the age where he's starting to develop his inferior function and wants to be more attached to the present moment instead of his Ni world. Another possibility that I haven't seen anyone mention yet is that he could be an xSFJ. He talks a lot about his memories with the band and goes into great detail when talking about them (yes I know that Si isn't purely memories but it definitely places great emphasis on past experiences and the nitty gritty details associated with them). One thing's for certain though, the guy is 100% a 9. You can just tell that he's in a constant quest to seek inner and outer harmony by the things he talks about in his livestreams.
Biography
Edward John O'Brien (born 15 April 1968) is an English guitarist and member of the alternative rock band Radiohead. O'Brien attended Abingdon School in Oxford, England, where he met the other members of Radiohead. O'Brien makes extensive use of effects units to create atmospheric sounds and textures, and provides backing vocals. In 2010, Rolling Stone named O'Brien the 59th greatest guitarist of all time. Along with the other members of Radiohead, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
