Honestly, I'd say ESIs take this one over SEIs for sure (really don't know why they're so many SEI votes). ESIs are protective, traditional, guard themselves and family members, conservative, like having stable/conventional (sometimes really black and white ones) views on what's moral or ethical due to Ti-Ne superego. Organized religion also in general is very rational > irrational in nature - It's structured, ritualistic, and tenets like duty and conscientiousness tend to be emphasized. Religion values certain things while devaluing others (judging dominants), while perceiving dominants would be more inclined to take in information/data from the world as it comes, in a more unfiltered way, whether that be ideas or concrete objects. Most of the SEIs I know are apathetic towards religion and even tend to be agnostic/atheist as adults after initially being raised in organized religion. SEIs really tend to prioritize their own comfort first and don't care about having strictly defined ethical or moral principles, much less imposing them on others in a hypocritical or sanctimonious way. ESIs are probably the most prevalent participants of organized religion, probably even more over LSI (although I could probably make a good case of a lot of preachers/ministers/activists like Charlie Kirk being LSI), because since their Ti is role/normative, they rely on authority and external sources to figure out the principle/structure they should live life by, rather than deciding and making their own rules/principles, like an LSI would. In general, ESI/LSI are both the most socially conservative types IMO, with LSI probably leaning a bit more economically left and ESI more economically right. ESEs I could make a case for over SEIs for participation in organized religion (but probably more for the community/socialization purpose), but they're definitely not as strict in their worldviews and beliefs as ESIs are. If we had to pick an intuitive type to represent this trait, it would probably be EII (think Prince Myshkin), but compared to ESI, EII would be more tolerant, leaning spiritual, and have a more personalized/individualistic way of worshiping, and view religion as an avenue towards the divine, purified, and unadulterated rather than to function as mainly a way to organize and structure daily life.
