What personality type is Jakob (Joker)? Jakob (Joker) is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/sp - 613 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
Jakob has 1 in his tritype, but he is not, in fact, a 1. Yes, he has perfectionistic tendencies, but he isn't really gut core if you look into his character. You also have to remember that his perfectionism is not something that came naturally. It was trained into him. Perhaps it "doesn't make sense" to some people that Jakob is typed as a 6 because he is, in fact, a counterphobic six. Look at this excerpt about sx/sp 6's: "On the high side, this subtype can be the most fiercely loyal to their friendships and to those loved ones who have gained their trust. The intensity of the sexual instinct brings with it a passion that is unwavering for the love and protection of their loved ones. The nature of the Six to “go towards,” combined with the merging of the sexual instinct, can sometimes create an idealization of others, the ones that have passed the test of the Six. On the down side, the fear of losing the close relationship can cause this subtype to desperately lash out counterphobicaly." You can clearly see this in the gap between how he treats Corrin and how he treats others. 1's are resolute in following their own morals and at times enforcing them. That is a fundamental aspect of 1's that is not evident in Jakob's character. Jakob's behaviour has hardly anything to do with his moral sense and everything to do with loyalty to the one who has gained his trust and made their way to his close circle. Honestly, the reasoning for Jakob as a 1 is at best shallow (based on "what" rather than "why") and at worst reductive of both 1's and 6's. Please remember that 6 fear and anxiety is generally not always active and apparent like people think it is.
Biography
A butler who personally serves Corrin, and an ally no matter what. From household chores to combat, he can do it all, but he doesn’t show an ounce of friendliness towards anyone besides Corrin. His class allows usage of staves and kunai, like Maids. Ironically not a morning person despite his job. His birthday is December 3rd.
