What personality type is Gabriella Montez? Gabriella Montez is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/so - 694 in Enneagram, RLOAI in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.
My modest explanation why I type her as very obvious ISFP: Gabriella is actually very sterotypical Fi user, including the stereotypes which even aren't always typical for Fi dom- she is idealist, longing to express individuality. She wants to be known as more than ,,the smart one". She helps Troy (Fe dom) to stop following people's expectations and just be who he wants to be, they always fight when Troy tries to please everyone and turns away from his true self, which is Gabriella's Troy, she fell in love with his true-self. Everywhere Gabriella goes, she tries to bring her ideals and beliefs with her. All the school changed when she came and everyone became more themselves, which is what she appriciate on others the most. In the second part is she the one who accept Ryan as another member of Tigers first and tries to convince everyone to give him a chance, because she sees him as more than Sharpey's puppet. She doesn't naturaly fit into society as many Fe users do, she just wish to be herself and most of the time in the story we can see her thinking deeply about how she wants to follow her heart and live in the present moment with people she loves- Fi+Se. Se users doesn't have to be kind of party people. She never wants to speak about future, which is understandable in the third part, when she has to decide to leave Troy or give up on her dream school, but even in the second part you can see that she tried to convince Troy to stop talking about future and just enjoy the present moment with her. And she was ready to stay at the university with Troy without long thinking or big worries about her plans- I think Si user or any J type would worry about his plans more, but she decided according to her feelings. I just want to emphasize- healthy Si users would be able to change their plans also, but I think they would be more stressfull because of it, Gabriella even says that ,,it's not a big deal". Sure, she tried to convince herself to think so, but again, I think it would be more painful for her to make this decision if she was Si user. She is able to enjoy every moment, she can find a joy in everything she does and tries to help everyone to do so as well. Just because she is very kind person doesn't mean she is Fe user, I truly wish everyone could finally understand that Fi users are kind people as much as Fe users, I dare say that Fi users are sometimes even visibly more compassion and gentle (but of course, everyone has his own way how to express compassion and kindness, including to Fi and Fe users). I actually think she has very strong Fi which complements the Se.
