What personality type is Alastor? Alastor is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sp/so - 783 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
After watching the episodes of Hazbin Hotel, I come here to say my honest opinion. Unfortunately, we don't have the other episodes yet to be able to define it with 100% accuracy. But Alastor in episode 2 showed clear signs of being an Sp7 subtype; this would make him an EN(T). Alastor's lust is his big ego, he doesn't take care of his personal hygiene and torn clothes, but he hates it when someone makes him dirty or tears his clothes (hypocrisy, lmao). Alastor no longer displays the perfectionism of E1, which removes him from the Sp1, So1 and Sx1 categories. Much less does it show the signs of egocentrism, purposeful social charm, desire for fame and recognition of Type 3 (common in So3). This could rule out the fact that he is an ET(N) {ENTJ}. It surprises me that Alastor showed the characteristics of Sp7... Such as his questionable social skills to lighten the mood he created, such as: sarcasm, derogatory jokes, cooperation with Charlie and the Hotel, changing plans every moment (like going to the couturier after a battle, without even considering fixing the Hotel, just fixing it when Charlie asked him) and his extremely competitive side. Alastor had been missing for 7 years, according to Vox and other information. Alastor only returned to action after seeing his competitor teasing him live on TV, then Alastor started a verbal fight. Sp7 are very competitive, but procrastinators when not stimulated... And Alastor simply didn't report news for 7 years out of PURE BOREDOM! And he only returned to active duty for a short time just to belittle his mortal enemy after 7 YEARS WITHOUT GIVING NEWS OF LIFE IN HELL. Clearly Alastor has an inflated, impulsive and highly competitive ego. He uses his acidic and derogatory sense of humor to belittle his victims as he slowly takes them down. If he were a Type 3 (especially a So3) I think he would be more in tune with his contacts and informing the public of details (like about the existence of the Hotel and his motivations), if he were a Type 1 he would be more of a perfectionist and turning the perfectionism towards self or others (like So1 does); which he doesn't do. Alastor very much appears to be an unhealthy Sp7. So, yes, folks... Apparently Alastor is an EN(T), that is... An unhealthy ENTP. And Vox is just an also unhealthy ET(N) So3. Alastor fights over his competitive selfishness and Vox fights over his public and narcissistic image. Sp7 and So3 fight. Alastor AKA the Radio Demon is one of the main characters of Hazbin Hotel. He is the hotel's Facility Manager, working for Charlie to optimize the efforts into making the project a success...or a failure. Intimidating, mysterious and always with a smile on his face. He's also a powerful Overlord of Hell, in a rivalry with the Overlord of Television, Vox. Alastor is shown to be very frustrated with television, being a hardcore defender of the Radio Industry, creating a rift between the two. This charming sinner has been inactive in Hell for long, only returning to action just recently, with mysterious ulterior motives that involve his recent employment at the Hazbin Hotel.
