What personality type is Sulli? Sulli is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sx/so - 974 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
Ask yourself, would an ENTP really fight the social status quo so much for their own individual authenticity? ENTP voters completely ignore the function stack of an ENTP, who have Fe in their conscious stack and trickster Fi. ENTPs would go against the status quo for things like free speech, not for their own authenticity. Most of the things that led to her death came from her Fi being bashed by the toxic Fe oriented people of SK. She tried to express herself as unfiltered as possible and decided things based on how she felt about it instead of checking how it makes other people feel. "When I first posted pictures of me braless, there were so many different reactions. I could have been frightened and hide, but I didn't. I wanted people's prejudices to disappear." - That's her wanting to express herself authentically (Fi) and be accepted as the person she is without needing to hide her personality (Fi again). Two Fi examples in one quote. "Today, I dreamed that my teeth fell out. I didn’t feel very happy about that." - A Ti user would've asked "Why did my teeth fell out?" but she shared how she felt about it (Fi). "If I think about it… I feel like I’m still influenced by the hurt that remains in my heart from a long time ago despite not being able to remember them very well." - She feels things strongly but can't remember what made her feel that way. Her being aware of those feelings after a long enough time to forget why she felt like that points to her Fi that internalized those deep feelings even though she doesn't remember the why. She was described as someone who had a 'Let's do it' attitude to things and didn't seem to ponder possibilities. She was interested in physical activities and looked for new experiences. Se > Ne makes more sense. As for her enneagram, she was described as a 'ball of joy', she was very lively and had an extroverted demeanor. This points towards 7 but I believe sx 9 makes more sense because of this entry; "I’ve never received infinite love. Dad left me even though I did nothing wrong. I felt like Mom might leave too if I misbehave, so I forgot about myself and followed her opinions and wishes." - Sx 9s are afraid of losing or separating from people so they tune out their own desires and follow what other people want to ensure that they won't leave. "Sexual Nines defend against the pain of early separation (and separations in general) by unconsciously denying the existence of boundaries. This is an attempt to avoid being aware of their own deeper sense of isolation and aloneness." - This sounds a lot like what Sulli wrote. In conclusion, I think ISFP makes the most sense for her and that the ENTP voters were drunk and mistook ENTP for xSFP while selecting their vote. But seriously, I hope more people recognize her dominant Fi without just shrugging it off as ISFP stereotyping. Sulli is one of the last people that deserve to be misunderstood.
Biography
Choi Jin-ri (March 29, 1994 – October 13 or 14, 2019), better known by her stage name Sulli (/ˈsʌli/), was a South Korean actress, singer and model. She was the former visual member of South Korean girl group f(x). On August 7, 2015 (a year into her hiatus), it was announced that Sulli had officially withdrawn from the group to pursue her acting career and SM Entertainment would continue to manage Sulli in her acting endeavors.
