What personality type is Juhoon (CORTIS)? Juhoon (CORTIS) is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/so - 945 in Enneagram, RCUAI in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
First of all, this site is not for us to vote on the personality they got on the test or what they think they are. It’s meant for academic discussion. They are young boys and, they can have variations in the way they will think and act, but at this age identity is already starting to become clearer, and it’s based on this that I will base my vote. Juhoon seems to be someone who knows himself quite well. During the BTS at Studio Choom, even though everyone said they thought he was a ( T ), he went against them and said he was definitely an ( F ), and that the boys didn’t know him well 😂 (he’s not sx lol). Jju is someone who puts himself first ( sp ); what matters the most to him is his well-being (he wants to record only once and get it right the first time) and what he believes is right ( Fi ). He doesn’t spend a single extra bit of energy ( 9 ) ( sp ) unless it’s extremely necessary. Although he is funny and has good ideas, he prefers to express himself only through facial expressions ( dominant phlegmatic ). He’s also not the type who likes to follow external rules ( 8 ); he gives his opinion when necessary and loves getting hands-on, making his own clothes, etc. He lives in what is concrete and immediate ( Se ) and doesn’t care much about what is intangible or external judgments. He has a strong sense of aesthetics and a unique, characteristic fashion sense. He likes to draw and is creative, although he almost never shows this side of himself (Vogue interview). He also has a good social sense of appropriateness and how to act in the way he thinks is right; he is a mediator ( 9 ). He often regulates ( 8 ) Martin and also acts as support/encouragement when needed ( Fi ) (Time to Debut vlog). He prefers peace and harmony but knows how to set boundaries and be assertive ( 9w8 ) about what he wants. Even though he has a “delicate” image, he exudes peace, serenity, confidence, and comfort to everyone. Even with fans, whenever they are nervous, he notices and comforts them ( so ), also always letting fans choose which language they prefer, which makes him super empathetic (a characteristic of ISFP). He has the trait of not opening up too much to people and using social interactions strategically, never crossing his own boundaries ( sp/sx ) ( Fi ). Friendship with him doesn’t come from how much he verbalizes, but from how authentic he is ( ISFP ) and the way he acts (Se). One of the weaknesses of his personality is that he can settle, avoid action, and let things slide. This can be seen in the many times he was called to become a trainee, but even though he liked the idea, he didn’t go. Only when he saw the group almost formed with the members ( Ni ) he got interested in joining. He has relevant ideas, but in a more artistic and impersonal area, like the creative wordplay he does (he’s unintentionally very funny). He is not the type to follow societal rules “rules don’t matter, we gotta color outside the lines” (Chuseok vlog), the pacifist who completely suppresses himself and just follows society’s “correct” path ( 9w1 ). His strongest characteristic also is not being a problem-solving thinker ( 5w6 ). In the BTS WTW Conceptual Performance, you can see that although he has the attitude of helping and giving ideas, his ideas are not the ones that solve the problems. He also doesn’t have the habit of trying to solve anything! Ever! As an ISFP, he has Te as his inferior function, meaning he is the extreme opposite of the 5w6 definition. He doesn’t aim to solve things (5w6) or be the most efficient in anything (Te), and that is his weakest function. In my analysis, he is an ISFP 9w8 945 sp/so phlegmatic. He has the same MBTI as Seonghyeon, but their personality sets make them really different. I also left a comment for him.
