What personality type is BoA? BoA is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - so/sp - 614 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
Here is my argument for ISTJ over INTJ. i've been a jumping boa since 2002 and i saw how much she poured into her routines, details, and schedules more than anything. she is extremely meticulous and painstaking, and compares new experience with the past very adeptly (e.g., when learning new choreo/ her diary from when she was living in japan when she was young, etc., that was her approaching to new experiences. She constantly used Si to make sense of her new experiences). she is also extremely detail oriented mroe than big picture oriented. i remember how she even got upset at her manager for typing her name as Boa instead BoA and put that manager on blast for it. she doesnt necessarily abstract information through Ni (abstract pattern ,convergence, underlying meaning)--focusing on the most important relevant information and see the consequences of the possibility in the future. ive not seen her be guided by insights/understanding the underlying meaning of what is happening, rather being highly attentive, calculating, and detailed-oriented in what is present. looking through how she went about her career as a whole, i detected time after time how she stores data and personal experience really well as evidenced by her interviews in japanese, trainee videos, talking about the details of what happened/comparing korea and japan/comparing the details of her genre of music, without a focus on images of unconscious/abstract implications, themes, and meaning (Ni). her songs doesn't really say much about her since she doesnt really write her songs. and she has always been a Fi user rather than a Fe user with a concern for her values, standards more than the group/collective. she is now in her mid 30s so she has a better grasp of her inferior Ne compared to how it was before. she struggled a lot with trying new concepts/ the new trend in kpop and with how she sees herself in light of the new possibilities and tended to lean towards guarding/reserving her past experiences and familiar routine. she's better at looking towards the future now, since she's at the age bracket of developing her inferior function.
