although i think it's kind of understandable misjudge rachel as a 8w9 in the early seasons, in her centered episode 5x07 'gag or throttle' we can see clearly that all she ever wanted was to feel loved and recgonized by those in her surround. she worked really hard and forced herself to be the one her parents wanted her to be, a "proclone". by being the only aware clone kid, she just wanted to feel she had some worth, and she lived a miserable life because of her need to overcome her sisters somehow. after watching the five seasons, we can see clearly that she fits perfectly the type 3 description (3w4, more specifically).
