What personality type is Hifumi Takimoto? Hifumi Takimoto is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sp/sx - 946 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
Why would she be 5w4? I don't remember her using knowledge-gathering to avoid being incapable or to remain competent. She is introverted, anxious, and shy, but this doesn't automatically make her a 5. It seems to me that she withdraws in order to maintain her inner peace and calm (and avoid anxiety) rather than to observe or pursue knowledge. Out of the three withdrawn types (4, 5, and 9) I think 9 makes the most sense. Type 9's key motivations (according to the Enneagram Institute's website) are creating harmony in their environment, avoiding conflicts and tension, preserving things as they are, and resisting whatever would upset or disturb them. I think this makes a lot of sense for Hifumi -- especially the second and last points. Compared to this, type 5's key motivations are wanting to possess knowledge, understanding the environment, and having everything figured out as a way of defending the self from threats from the environment. I don't remember her engaging in behaviors related to this at all, so I don't think 5 makes sense for her enneagram type. For her tritype, I think she is likely 946 or 964.
