what rlly irritates me abt typing lance is that the writers wrote him so inconsistently that you can’t tell if he’s meant to use Fi or Fe. you can argue for either Fi or Fe and give concrete examples but those examples won’t apply to the entirety of voltron’s 8 seasons cause of how inconsistent the writing became in the later seasons. i’d argue at the beginning of the show he used tert Fe a lot (a huge turning point for him was feeling like he didn’t belong in the team and had to step down for the sake of voltron’s mission but it was motivated far more by Fe than Fi) and there were hints of aux Ti every now and then but at the end he was a completely aux Fi user (his entire storyline revolving around allura) *sigh*
Biography
The pilot of the Blue Lion and Guardian Spirit of the Water. Lance considers himself to be Keith's rival, though he was only considered for Galaxy Patrol pilot training due to Keith's expulsion. Lance is convinced of his own superiority and quick to go after a pretty woman. Though he won't openly show it, Lance is quite homesick for Earth and his family. He is the pilot of the Blue Lion, which is equipped with a sonic cannon and freeze ray. He forms the right leg. His Bayard transforms into either a close-range assault rifle, a long-range sniper rifle, or an Altean broadsword. During the third season, he takes Keith's place as the pilot of the Red Lion after Keith replaces Shiro in the Black Lion.
