an excellent example of Fe dom in modern animation! he is motivated a lot be fear and its easy to be put out of his comfort zone, but uses Fe and Ne to convince others back into what he thinks would be better. hunk needs them to agree, he won’t ever force them. like when he suggests sneaking back into the school for a late night snack, while a cruddy fat joke issue that ends up dissolving his character into the background due to writer laziness and a desire to please the fanbase, he is very well demonstrated using Fe-Si-Ne-Ti in that ORDER in the pilot. he even read pidge’s diary and used just the Si information toward the area they were in, keith’s little… shack? expanding on what’s there with Ne, propelling them to literally discover voltron. and he’s hilarious. i feel like im passing him off to suitors like my son right now am i tumblr they wasted him so hard, he could’ve easily had an arc where he abandoned the team due to fear or tried to dissuade them more detrimentally. forever in mourning for my boy hunk.

Biography

The pilot of the Yellow Lion and Guardian Spirit of the Land. Hunk initially seemed an unlikely candidate for a Voltron pilot, as he disdains dangerous situations and suffered from motion sickness. However, he is also a skilled mechanic who was able to process data collected by Pidge to create a "Voltron Geiger counter" that helped the group find the hidden Blue Lion. Hunk fills the primary role of Comic Relief on the team, but over the course of the first season, he becomes more willing to his role as the Yellow Paladin and becomes more heroic. He is the pilot of the Yellow Lion, which not only has powerful digging abilities but has the strongest armor of any Lion. He forms the left leg. His Bayard transforms into a type of laser machine cannon, and his special weapon for Voltron is a shoulder cannon.
