One of the most genuinely good ones out of Winden MBTI —> I think her Si-Fe really comes though in her interactions with the Se Dom Nielsens (Ulrich and Katharina), they are rather quick to dismiss past childhood baggage per focus on the present via their Se-Ni axis, but to Regina, the abuse and bullying she went through and the sensory impressions retained from such memories are still prevalently there on the forefront of her mind and it’s not even a spiteful grudge, it’s Si retaining those interpretative impressions as Regina’s form of individual agency. —> Thus, she concentrates the associated discomfort from such memories into outwardly judgmental Fe and who can blame her for being bitter after the teenage shit she went through, but on the flip side, she generates everything that’s great and wonderful about Fe’s social charity by being kind to the Stranger when stays at the hotel and being dedicated to her family, everything from her concern about Bartosz’s absence in Season 2 to being supportive of Aleksander when his past baggage comes back to haunt him. —> Her tertiary Ti and inferior Ne wasn’t as directly challenged as the other pragmatists (I mean very well by that, some fucking pragmatism as an INFP would be nice for once…) in town with twisted families and time travel, the only time more frightened skepticism came out is when Claudia came to her still around the same age she disappeared from Regina at and who could blame Regina herself, hopefully not us degenerate, hands-in-our-pants Ne Aux/Dom users. ENNEAGRAM —> The childhood wound element of 6w5 makes a lot of sense for Regina, especially with how sad her childhood was, unaware of being a product of Bernd’s gross pedophilia, having her insecurity being deliberately fed into by a still immature Claudia, and being the subject of bullying by the Nielsens (well, then Albers in Katharina’s case, but fuck Helene); I would want a source of security beyond myself too if I had to deal with such shit. —> I’m not as religious as I once was, but it’s a thing of beauty that Aleksander came into Regina’s life like an angel (albeit, with holding Katharina at gunpoint and being on the run as an outlaw) and thus gave her something to integrate into the 9-likeness of optimism and ease of mind with, physically expressed by having herself put more together and just having a general air of more confidence. —> And then her bitterness into adulthood (again, still very much justified for her) is evocative of disintegrating into the cold challenger nature of unhealthy 3’s, picking apart Ulrich and Katharina’s words and holding them to their flaws. PERSONAL THOUGHTS —> No, I’m serious, Regina is definitely one of the genuinely good people of Winden that isn’t as subject to the noir-nature of the other townspeople, being a generous provider through her hotel business and being a dedicated advocate for her family. —> As the Dark fandom has spoken of, it’s a very good think that we get characters in the show whose life isn’t as wrapped up in the time travel dilemma, Regina being faced with a corrupt economy that challenges her hotel and then later being faced with debilitating cancer. —> It’s so very good and deserving that she ultimately got a “happy ending” (by some stretch of interpretation or another) by having been able to live per everything Claudia work towards in dismantling the time knot; definitely more deserving than *some* people - in other words, fuck Hannah - and yeah, and ESPECIALLY fuck Hannah for setting Regina up to get further harmed by Katharina, good god, how depraved can one be… Thank you.

Regina Tiedemann is a hotel manager and married to Aleksander Tiedemann, with whom she has a son, Bartosz Tiedemann. She is the daughter of Claudia Tiedemann.
