Wasn’t sure until Episode 7. This is a clear ISTJ. No ISTP here He is clearly no good with Se in the Darien scenes. His approach to learning English is conventional to the point of boredom - memorising tapes, like it’s the 90s. His approach to everything is to just do the “thing that must be done no matter what”, instead of trying to find any sort of shortcut that might compromise his religious morals. This is Si-Te thinking - “The world is under moral crisis, I must do what must be done, without becoming like one of them”. An ISTP would not have cared about following any sort of social rule in this situation. And would have found far more efficient ways of getting things done.
