What personality type is Phineas Flynn? Phineas Flynn is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 729 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
To voters who think Phineas is an ENFP: Just because someone is an ENTP doesn't mean they are a bunch of narrissistic, inconsiderate, jerks. This is huge xNTP sterotype that has led to a bunch of characters that are xNTP to be typed as xNFPs. Yes xNTPs (particulary INTPs can have a snarky/sarcastic attitude to them but more often then not they mean well/not trying to malicious. Phineas shows no sign of Fi/Te, he does not make decisions of based on internal morals/feelings or external logic/how things can be done efficiently instead behind his Ne spontanity he has a sense of inner logic that can help him solve problems and has a strong desire to experiment and see how things work (granted Ferb (an ISTP) has stronger Ti but Phineas' auxiliary Ti is very much present within his character). Also his teritary Fe does make Phineas likeable and to more aware of group dynamics, and no just because he couldn't figure out Isabelle like him all this time doesn't mean he does not mean he has Fi, it's just mainly due to his weaker Fe (as compared to Isabella's dominant Fe or even Ferb's auxiliary Se/teritary Ni knowing that Isabella liked Phineas). Another example that debunks Phineas being an ENFP on the grounds of him supposedly having Fi is his enneagram type 7w6 or more specfically his instinctual type. Phineas is an example of a 7 with a social subtype and the countertype for 7s is a social 7 with would make this type act the least like a normal 7. Seeing how being a social 7w6 makes Phineas a lot less cynical and more idealistic/optimistic/more Fi like than other ENTPs. Honestly I wouldn't be surprized if people thought Phineas is an ENFP due to him being a social 7w6.
Biography
Phineas is an optimistic, creative and inventive young boy who wants to make the most of his summer vacation and have fun. Every day, he comes up with a new wacky scheme with the help of his brother Ferb. Despite his intelligence, Phineas can be rather naive - he is unaware of his friend's Isabella's obvious crush on him and he doesn't seem to realize that his sister Candace is trying to reveal his inventions to their mother in order to get him and Ferb grounded.
