TRUE COLORS SPOILERS 7w6 > 5w4 7s are idealists and positivists, they seek new experiences and look to avoid being in pain, which is exactly what made Marcy want the calamity box in the first place, she wanted to escape reality, her problems and the future, everytime we see her she is always happy and tries to remain positive, she is also very adventureous and enthusiastic about new ideas and experiences and accepted Andrias' proposition cause she wanted to explore new worlds and live adventures in them, she didn't want to return home cause she did not want to face reality. her core motivations are that of a 7, a 5 would not try to escape their pain and would instead try to dettach themselves from their feelings but Marcy didn't do that, she instead fearfully ran away from her reality and wanted a "fun adventure" with her friends to avoid it. 7s can integrate into 5 and try to not just experience but also understand and study the world around them. her 6 wing comes from her seeking the support of her friends and wanting things to stay the way they are forever as she feels secure with how things are. she actually reminds me of Mabel from Gravity Falls (another 7w6) in the sense she wants to escape reality and live out her fantasies in another world so she can escape the pain (7) of losing her security and support group (w6), in Mabel's case it was not wanting to leave Gravity Falls and lose Dipper and in Marcy's case it was not wanting to move and lose her best friends 794 > 549 i already went over why she is a 7 but i gotta say her 9 fix is stronger than her 4 fix too, when has Marcy cared about how people see her? when does she express shame? when has she cared about being unique? the 4 fix is obvious but i gotta say it's quite weak compared to the 9 fix, afterall, she was afraid of being separated from her friends and wanted things to stay the way they were forever csuse it gave her peace, she has slso shown a few times how she wants to maintain harmony within her social group.
Biography
Marcy Regina Wu is a major supporting character of Amphibia. She is a 13-year-old Taiwanese-American human girl who is best friends with Anne and Sasha, attending Saint James Middle School together. When Anne opened the Calamity Box, Marcy, along with Anne and Sasha, was teleported to Amphibia. Marcy was warped within the walls of Newtopia and was promoted to Chief Ranger of the Newtopian Night Guard, where she worked directly for King Andrias of Amphibia. She represented the green gem of Wit on the Calamity Box.
