What personality type is Maximus? Maximus is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - sp/so - 163 in Enneagram, RLOEN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
I think his Si overweighs his Te. This might be hard to spot since in the movie you can mostly only see him exercising his Te. Since Si is an introverted function though,it’s generally harder to spot, and especially difficult when a character doesn’t speak. But here is the main reason why I think Si is dominant: All the Te things he does, mainly, fulfilling his duty of chasing criminals, is motivated by Si: Upholding tradition, doing what he has always been trained to do, protecting the peace of the kingdom it has always had and, knowing that if he succeeds, he will be rewarded as has always been the case. His Te is how he makes use of his Si- he doesn’t only believe in order and stability, he wants to actively help maintaining it by means of Te. Since he is mostly in this mode, he might look like an ESTJ. However, he isn’t motivated by prestige, money, popularity, recognition and so on, but by the before mentioned Si- values.
Biography
The Captain of the Guard's horse, who is unfortunately more competent than the captain himself. At the beginning of the movie, he dedicates himself to hunting Flynn down for getting the tiara. He later serves as the Royal Guard's mascot.
