What personality type is Perfect Cell? Perfect Cell is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sx/so - 378 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
Okay so let me get one thing out of the way. You should not be voting Cell ENTP off of stereotypes of being a genius. You also shouldn't be voting Cell off of wanting to challenge fighters. Another thing, I think Cell has different personality types upon transformations. Why you may ask? Because he takes in the cells of other people and his persona changes. Cell is not like the other villains (Except Buu) who goes upon a transformation and is still the same. It's kinda like metamorphosis. (Ex. "he seems to feel that he is the most powerful living specimen on the planet, and it is suggested that this arrogant attitude may have been influenced by Vegeta's genes") So if you are typing his personality based on his other forms.. Well there is a difference. Cell needs to be looked at on his thought process. not really his arrogance or smug cockiness but the way he would think. I noticed people keep saying he doesn't look at abstract concepts and things like that forgetting that he IS the concept created by Dr. Gero. Cell does not just fight to fight. Cell wants to put to test the concept of being the "perfect being" known as Perfect Cell. Why do I see it as ne? Ne is going to want to do experimentation and implementation in a lot of ways. When Cell survived the explosion, he didn't know how he had survived... He continues to come of with the idea for why and how he survived and explains that it had given him a power boost. The thing that gets thrown off about Cell at times is about how he was looking to challenge Goku and others. This could be just due to his ne. Cell in his first form was very careful and calculated. He wasn't as brash. The thing I noticed about Cell as he progressed that most of the the challenging scenes we see is mainly due to Goku's and Frieza's counterparts. He has their dna. Cell is a little hard to type but the what I am getting at is I don't believe that him challenging the fighters to test his abilities is a sustainable example of se. Ne will seek out that experimentation. Cell almost reminded me of scientist trying to put a concept into test. Take into consideration, that Cell took on the dna of a lot of fighters. Which explains his different outbursts and reactions to situations. I also think that the way he retains people's abilities from key memory and uses it as his own is a good example of si but I'll probably do some more on that later. Cell does have the characteristics of an se user. However, as of now I see ENTP and I think a lot of that may be due to some of the traits of other characters. I would like to see some detailed arguments on se as I am still deciding between the two. He does enjoy martial arts which is usually an Se trait. But he likes the idea/concept of strength rather than just enjoying it for sensory pleasure. Cell is very cunning. Yet he still managed to be great at thinking in the heat of the moment. His only goal is to cause chaos and see the looks people’s faces when their world is destroyed."
Biography
Perfect Cell is the final form of Dr. Gero's biologically-engineered android 'Cell', after having absorbed the Android siblings (in order) 17 and 18. Possessing the "cells" of many Z-fighters and villains, his personality as a result, is an amalgamation of all those characters - he craves for a good challenge like Goku and Vegeta, is proud and arrogant like Vegeta, calm and calculated like Piccolo Jr., and evil and ruthless like Frieza. As does he also exhibits the skill-sets and powers of those characters. He hosts a tournament ('Cell Games') in order to seek a worthy challenge and unlike the previous villains thus far, has no interest in seeking the Dragon Balls whatsoever. #KamidereCharacters #CompleteMonster
