Son Gokū MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Son Gokū? Son Gokū is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - so/sx - 872 in Enneagram, SCUAN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.

Anyone voting for Ennea-type 7, keep in mind you're arguing Goku is a MIND/HEAD TYPE - when he's known for being an actual head empty that never rationalizes his motives to act out the way he does. And that's truly an important key to finding his type since E7 defense mechanism is Rationalization. Goku is a rather luxurious character (in an 8 way, which is to feel PHYSICAL intensity all the time). that's the core fixation of the type. 8 is a BODY type. E8 representatives are rebels that don't subscribe to external standards that could anyhow restrict them. Now, take a closer look at Goku: does this guy seem to follow any rule, like, ever? does he look like someone who lives in society? He cares only about intensity and getting stronger. PHYSICALLY stronger. A special trait that's often forgotten about Type 8: they divide the world between strong and weak people, and they straight up identify themselves as strong - stronger than anyone else!! And especially: they fight to protect the weak. Are you sure you need anything more Goku than that? More importantly, 8s believe in "doing justice with one's own hands rather than delegating to institutions". Goku NEVER searches authorities (absolutely anti-institutions) and turns villains who can potentially destroy galaxies into a problem of his own. Goku IS THE JUSTICE ITSELF, and not based on morals but in SURVIVAL which characterizes a Gut type. Type 7 is different. They cope with a rationalization of their desires, always presenting that charlatan demeanor of someone who makes excuses and creates arguments, and reframes everything out of nowhere to justify themselves (i.e. your typical annoying Ne dominant, if it pleases you). Goku lacks so many things necessary things to be a 7. Please, where's Fraudulence (confused between imagination and reality? a persona hiding anxiety? charlatan?). Okay, he lacks disciplined and is cheerful but... are you sure that's your point towards someone's core type? Even though he fits E7's optimism, I can't say it is due to the same reason 7s adopt in order to be optimistic - which is to run off inner angst, nonetheless never shown by Goku particularly -, despite the fact that he feels no anxiety at all while fighting someone stronger than him as he thinks his vulnerability is just something easy to overcome (wherefore fitting 8's strategy: Denial). Regarding Denial, haven't you guys never had an interest in how weird it is Goku's denial of vulnerability? it's just like he cannot see that he's still a living being that can die. He'll keep fighting, keep hurting himself. In his mind is like the physical realm holds no limitation whatsoever. I shall also remarkably point how, based on the entire Enneagram structure, in Point 7, E6's "doubt" meets the E8's lust for life. The result is: E7 wants a little bit of everything in life, but, **because of their fear and doubt, they do not fully immerse themselves in anything**. Much like our famous E8, E7 is stimulated and excited by all things in the world; but due to this fear, the contact remains mostly mental and therefore presumably safe. E8's are sensory, and E6 doubts their experience, so E7 ends up sampling many things, but questions everything. >ENNEA-TYPE 7 Exhibitionist, "know better", well informed, "intellectually superior", a compulsion to explain, pretended superiority masked by "brotherly" bonds, hidden inferiority/insecurity, manipulatively charming, good intuition, focus on fantasy/plans/utopia/future/potential, disconnected from down-to-earth reality in favor of imagined plans and ideals. >ENNEA-TYPE 8 Predominance of action over intellect and feeling, concrete, focus on "here and now", intense, gusto, contactful, sensory-motor disposition, passionately in favor of lust/hedonism in life, need stimulation/excitement (propensity to boredom), impatient, impulsive, pleasure in fighting for pleasure, pain (of others or of themselves in overcoming obstacles) becomes pleasure when they satisfy their impulses. To the comment below mine, a friendly reminder: Yes, the Enneagram is about struggles/limitations/one's emotional core - that doesn't mean it is not about personality traits (or, preferably, manifestations), either. it is called "Enneagram of Personality" and not "Enneagram of Motivations", meaning it has to build some coherence within manifestation. Types do have a shape and you shall not go merely by "vibes" or comparing to people *supposedly* from the same type (in fact, I don't even know if Frieza truly is an 8)
