[𝟏/𝟐] Some things to consider: First: ➡️ Fi inspires a deep and passionate understanding. Some say it exhibits relational empathy; an ability to 'put themselves in other people's shoes.' Fi is introverted, therefore, derives meaning from the self apart from the environment. ➡️ Fe inspires a deep understanding of emotions. Some say it exhibits mirror empathy (or sympathy); an ability to bounce off of other people's emotions. Fe is extraverted, therefore, derives meaning from the environment apart from the self. ➡️ Where the Fe is drawn to champion for the collective plight of a group, the Fi is drawn to the plight of an individual, especially, those that seem to the Fi user to be on the fringes of society. ➡️ As you all know, the INFP and the INFJ are people-oriented, but they go about it differently. ➡️ Where the INFP is on the Fi/Te axis, therefore, individuates people and ethics while taking a collective approach to logical systems, the INFJ is on the Ti/Fe axis, therefore, individuates systems while taking a collective approach to people and ethics. ➡️ Where the INFP takes a deconstructionist attitude to ideology, the INFJ takes a collective attitude to ideology. ➖➖➖ Some easily noticeable things about the INFJ: ➤ Ni-Ti in the INFJ presents an abstracted internal dialogue that's deeply cerebral. Most of the INFJs interactions and reactions with their environment are informed by their Ni-Ti internal ideational framework. The INFJ must first of all integrate new logic into their Ni-Ti framework before they're comfortable applying it. ➤ Due to their auxiliary Fe, the INFJ is ideally, usually, compelled to mould themselves to external social / emotional situations in order to foster social harmony (or manipulate emotional situations). Fe in this position also presents a psyche that's in constant battle with their sense of identity. The INFJ is more attuned to other people's emotions than they are to theirs, therefore, they don't have an easily manageable sense of self-identity. ➤ Thanks, too, to the INFJs auxiliary Fe they tend to have open body languages (certain micro-expressions: twitching, adjusting and readjusting body positions to indicate that they're present and listening etc etc) and they are engaging. They may not be willing to disclose much about themselves to you, a stranger, but they'd be willing to accommodate you, and it's all in their micro-expressions. ➤ Thanks to the INFJ's Fe-Se, they have a specific and direct social awareness. This specific awareness provides them with further observations to rationalize upon when they're a lot calmer. ➤ The INFJs dominant Ni has Se as its oppositional function, therefore, INFJs spend some part of their lives trying to reconcile their internal ideational framework with their environment, therefore, may seem to be at variance with (or rebellious to) the external reality of things. ➖➖➖ Some easily noticeable things about the INFP: ➤ Most of the INFP's reactions to and interactions with their environment are informed by their Fi-Si internal ideological framework. ➤ Fi-Si in the INFP presents a psyche that internally concretises emotions /ideas / identity. This means that they tend to have a very concrete and specific lens that they view their emotions through and this gives them a sense of surgical precision over their emotions; makes them seem like they can turn their emotions on and off. It also makes the INFP a bit past oriented (they seem to reconcile the past with the present); this is also why INFPs tend to sort of show some sort of memory indexing, ie, they remember concretely scenarios that are emotionally significant for them, asides that, they could seem to have poor memories. ➤ The INFPs are fluid with Fi-Si, therefore, are willing to and are comfortable taking active responsibility over their emotions and other people's emotions. ➤ The INFPs Ne in the auxiliary position, ideally, usually, compels them to seek external ideational novelty (governed by the self) outside the self. It compels them to attempt to look at all possible ways a situation could play out before making external decisions. And this leads to the analysis paralysis most INxPs report. The INFP is capable of making internal ideological / identity-based judgments first, before the research begins. Because Ne compels them to look outwardly, they'd begin researching on what they're already thinking about, and would prefer to get as much (if not all) they can on that topic before making a final decision. ➤ Due to the Ne, again, which is a very verbal & divergent function, high Ne users seem to possess a rambling trait. Ian exhibited this rambling trait. The INFPs Ne-Te pairing provides a plethora of words struggling for space. They are also, thanks to Ne, comfortable ruminating over ideas that may or may not quite have a practical application.
