Mordred has such strong values. He places so much importance on love and believes it to be the right thing, there’s no way he’s not Fi dom. He wanted magic to be made legal again and believed in Arthur. Despite what Morgana thought, Mordred always follows what he thinks is right rather than anyone else. After that one episode where he returned to Morgana, that too was following what he believed to be right, because he’d lost faith in Arthur and thought Morgana’s way was the only way to achieve what he wanted. He didn’t change in the slightest. I really love Mordred more than I should tbh
Biography
Mordred is a druid who forms a close bond with Morgana when she, Arthur and Merlin save his life as a young boy. Mordred is the first person to call Merlin by his druid name "Emrys". When Kilgharrah foresees that Mordred will be responsible for the death of Arthur Pendragon, the dragon warns Merlin not to help the young druid but he can not allow the boy to die and helps Arthur rescue Mordred. Later as a young man, Mordred has to choose between Arthur and Morgana, choosing Arthur because he believes in the good inside him. Arthur knights Mordred a Knight of Camelot, but Merlin still does not trust him. When Mordred's love interest Kara is captured and executed by Arthur, Mordred decides to turn against Camelot and ally himself with Morgana, revealing Merlin's true identity to her. Mordred succeeds in mortally wounding Arthur, but just when he stabs the King, Arthur still has the strength to kill Mordred. #AsaButterfield
