"Trash mouth" Tozier is a clear ENTP. His rampant Ne constantly gets him into trouble with authority figures for spouting off bizarre correlations/comparisons - hence his nickname. He also frequently hides behind his various personas when afraid as this lends him some confidence and bravery ("it is easier to be brave when you are someone else"). While I realize this page is meant for the film, I will add an aside to discuss his character in the novel (also an ENTP). Richie is characterized as being the proverbial "eyes" of the group. He has a knack for sensing danger, and at one point saves bill from getting his fingers ripped off by pennywise. He has an almost supernatural sense when it comes to Pennywise. Bill might be the leader of the losers, but Richie is his protector. We see this several times - when Bill isn't leading, Richie steps up. While his Ne does make him the obvious choice for the comic relief of the group, it also lends him a visceral know-how that makes him a formidable protector in the group. This is partly the reason pennywise seems to always attempt to aim attacks at his eyes to blind him - It recognizes Tozier as a threat.
