What personality type is Aslan? Aslan is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - so/sx - 952 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
His entire character felt like Ni and Se inferior to the max. He is much less of a character then a concept. His Fe shows in how his ultimate purpose is to serve other people, Aslan doesn’t truly have his own will and will let the people decide their own fate, then help them in whatever fate they’ve managed to create for themselves. He is not someone in the present at all, it’s clear he’s always thinking of some sort of future mission, which makes him extremely wishy washy as a character cause he will appear one minute then mystically disappear into the wind the next. If Jesus was an absent friend to his Apostles basically. Which is funny, because Lewis is actually a convert Christian and did not even mean to make Aslan an expy for Jesus, it just occurred to him as he wrote it. As well, the reason Aslan is a lion is because lions are the “king of the beasts” and Christ is referred to as “the lion of Judah” (he also had been having reoccurring dreams about lions).
