Aladdin MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Aladdin? Aladdin is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - so/sx - 495 in Enneagram, in Big 5, EII in Socionics.

I'd lean towards INFJ, though a good ENFP argument could change that. My reasoning is that we can see Ni constantly at work in his thought processes and actions. He always looks at the big picture, recognizing the patterns that make certain things happen and taking actions in order to avoid them. This is exemplified in his solution to many of the conflicts, like the Kouga clan. He takes the beliefs that resonate with him from others (Like the idea that war leads nowhere from the granny from the Kouga clan, showing Fe) and makes it his own. The resolution he comes to in this arc is to talk to both sides, and try to end things without letting his emotions guide him, being objective. The life of the people of the clan are more important than its pride. The ability he has to constantly realize the underlying reasons behind the anger of the masses (Ni) and the way he puts himself in other people's shoes to the extents that he does (Fe, like with Alibaba and his constant speechs of reassurance) make him be very likely an INFJ. The way he categorizes people is also very abstract and shows an excellent portrayal of the Ni-Fe axis. With Alibaba, he sees the value beyond the surface and makes sure to point it out. With Sinbad, he senses that he's an inspriring person, although his light is almost blinding, something that he thinks could be an obstacle in his constant search for the truth of the world (which involves being in touch with new perspectives and ideas) With Mogamett, he gets confused because his actions don't befit the kindness he *senses* from him. It's all very abstract and not very Te-like, imo, he's always operating on those kind of ideas. When he decides to go to Magnosttat, and wants to go alone, without Morgiana and Alibaba, it's because he feels like it's an experience he has to see for himself, once again, being pretty abstract. His Fe always make him think about what are the universal truths about the world, generally keeping a positive attitude regarding life and its meaning, even through all the tragedies he has witnessed. He has hope for humanity. Ti in how he uses a subjective logic system to rationalize his own experiences, and Inferior Se in how he often loses himself in his thoughts and doesn't have much of a presence unless the situation requires it. Why not ENFP? I think that an ENFP wouldn't be as organized and goal-focused as Aladdin is in many of his actions, "Go to x place to learn x thing, make a judgement about x person or x city that makes me see an underlying truth I couldn't before"- And frankly, I think he isn't in tune with his own emotions as much as he is with that of others: He's always the supporting role, the one who encourages. But his own worries, he keeps to himself. As for my own thoughts on his character, I think that he's fascinating. I get excited everytime he encourages Alibaba, because I truly believe what he says. And his many beliefs about the world are amazing, too. "Destiny isn't something to make as you're told. By overcoming difficulties, life, and this whole world can advance forward. That's what destiny is for."
