Daphne Blake MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Daphne Blake? Daphne Blake is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sp - 368 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.

Okay, I already commented on this page but since she is finally back on the ENTJ page (which I'm really glad) I came back to clear some things. Just because she is ESFJ in other series, doesnt mean she is in this one as well. So, why Te>Fe? Fe is focused on keeping harmony within the group. A Fe user always knows how to read the room and will do certain sacrafices to keep the group together. What Daphne does at the very begining of the Movie? Ditches her friends because they slightly insulted her. And im not saying that Fe doms cannot stand up for themselves but first of all: It wouldnt happen after a slight insult. Second of all: Fe dom would first try to save the friend group, and not being the first one to ditch them. And the third reason: A Fe-Si user would think before doing it. Daphne did it very quickly (se tert) with little to no thinking how it will turn out for the friend group. And why Te? I think there is a misconception going On that in order for Character to have Te, they need to vocalize they plans. Like "guys, here is the plan, you do this, I do that". No, like it doesnt work like that. Daphne plans most of her moves when it comes to fight and solving mysteries. When you look closely at her final fight in first movie and the first fight of the second Movie you will see how her moves are well planned. Plan of defeating the enemy didnt work out? Here is another plan. Didnt work out? Another plan. She adapts really quickly to any enviornment, showed in the final fight when she uses a window to smash her opponents head and in the second Movie when she cuts the rope to save Shaggy and Scooby. Her extraverted planning is also shown at the end of the second movie when her and Fred are fighting against the electricity monster. She is the first person to come out with a plan when her previous one didnt succed. She also has a strong introverted intuition, she exactly knows what her opponent will do without observing them for a long time. A Si user would first gather informations about their enemy, and not relay on their intuituon as much as Daphne does. Another example of aux Ni is her reading between the lines of everything. "-Dont go into that castle" "-Aha! You want me to go into that castle!" Si users take informations for what it is. Ni users try to read between the lines and find the deeper meaning. Another example is in the second movie when she discovers the identity of the journalist. Even when her theory that the journalist is the culprit, because the monster shows on the roof of the musem while she is standing next to the journalist, she still believes in her theory based on her "gut feeling". Another example of Ni: first movie when she discovers the first clue - that triangle thing (idk how its called). She knows its a clue, even tho she sees it for the first time and it could be a museum attraction as well. But she exactly knows that this is something important. Also: Daphne will go out of her way to prove her point, she doesnt care about keeping harmony, if it doesnt benefit her. "You guys will look so dumb when you will get kidnapped and I will be the one saving you!" Again, zero Fe. While she already plans what she will do in a certain scenario. And finally: Why fi inferior? Just because she is nice for her friends doesnt mean she is a feeler. She bottles up her emotions in order to get the task done. She was deeply hurt by what the group thinks about her (velma: "oh please, you always get kidnapped") but she pushes all of her emotions away and decides to work on herself, train in self defense while deep, deep inside she keep on questioning herself and her abilities. "I dont always get kidnapped!" "Fred, Am I just a pretty face of the gang?" After the journalist says that Velma is the brains, Fred is the leader and she is just pretty and has no role in the gang whatsoever she is self-doubting herself. She is task oriented, will plan everything out (organizing scooby and shaggy to save fred and velma in the first film) but she is not focused on her own emotions, which causes all of her self doubt. In conclusion: Te - Ni - Se - Fi. Entj women icon.
