In my opinion Dolores is an INFP, based on my analysis of her behavior and her use of cognitive functions. Let me illustrate: Dominant Function: Fi Dolores is very in tune with her own emotions and values and it is very important for her to be true to herself and being authentic. She herself believes: „I have one last role to play myself“. This statement reflects her desire to be no longer controlled by others and their expectations on her and rather break free and find her own way of doing things. She is quite tolerante of others, as long as they don‘t threat her own morals and values. When she believes someone to do herself or another person a wrong she can be quite aggressive and vengeance seeking. She can be quite judgmental on others, if they won‘ t agree with her morality and is very blunt with it. She is also very sensitive and able to mirror the emotions of others around her. This is seen in her way of caring mainly about „her kind“, meaning the people she feels an emotional connection to based on similar past experiences. Interestingly she doesn‘t only feel this way about fellow hosts, but also about oppressed humans, like Caleb. This kind of seeing similarities in different situations and looking beyond her own suffering, looking at the bigger picture could very well be influenced by her Ne as well since it enables her to look past her own reality. An see connections in seemingly unrelated problems. What also stand out about Dolores is that, Even though she experiences intense emotions she doesn‘t express them outwardly very much and seems quite emotionless, closed of and guarded at times. For example think about the death of Teddy, where she was deeply shocked but not able to show her intense feelings of pain and grief directly at that time. Dolores is also quite restrained from the emotional atmosphere around her and lost in her own intense emotions and her searching for self discovery.
