Molly Hooper MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Molly Hooper? Molly Hooper is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - sx/so - 269 in Enneagram, RLOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.

The ISFJ voters are stereotyping a lot and don‘t convince me so far. Yes Molly very much has the role of the supportive background character in the story and is self sacrificing and willing to please Sherlock to a fault, but all of these traits can be true for an INFP as well. Molly‘s most obvious function throughout the show is her Fi. Fi is described by Jung as a cognitive functions defined by a unique depth of feelings, which at the same time aren‘t exrpressed outwardly. Thus Jung describes Fi users with the phrase ‚Stil waters run deep’. This fits perfectly for Molly, who hides her intense feelings for Sherlock under an outwardly distant almost cold exterior. While she shows a strong loyality to Sherlock and Watson she hides a lot of her true feelings even from her closest acquaintances. This is also the reason, Sherlock trustet her to not tell anyone about him faking his death. Her inferior Te develops is also really obvious, as she can act cold, demanding and uncharacteristically Bosse under stress (like when suddenly slapping Sherlock when he hurt her).
