What personality type is Jeff Bezos? Jeff Bezos is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - 386 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
I'm surprised Bezos has so many ISTJ votes here. He's hard to type, in my opinion, because he doesn't have the typical emotional/behavioral traits that one might expect of ISTJs. If I had to speculate on his Big 5 traits, I'd say that he is probably high on Openness and Agreeableness, and on the surface this makes him seem like an NF type. He's also very slippery in interviews and is very good at talking about things without actually saying anything, so it's hard to pin down what exactly his take is on a lot of topics. So...good job, guys, I guess?? One thing that, in my opinion, points to -STJ over -NTJ is one of his anecdotes about college: "I went to Princeton primarily because I wanted to study physics, and it's such a fantastic place to study physics. Things went fairly well until I got to quantum mechanics ... It was so hard for me ... There were three or four people in the class whose brains were so clearly wired differently to process these highly abstract concepts. I was doing well in terms of the grades I was getting, but for me it was laborious, hard work."
