What personality type is Mew? Mew is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - so/sx - 947 in Enneagram, RCUAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Why Mew is INFP Recently I've been looking more about Mew, I've tried to understand more about him, his motivations, visions... I've come to the conclusion that he's probably really an INFP The first fact that proves this is the fact that he does not speak, according to Mew's screenwriter the reason Mew does not speak is because humans simply would not understand him, he could indeed talk to humans and other pokémon, but he chooses not to, because he simply has no interest It was said that if Mew communicated he would have an innocent yet cruel sight, a very particular view of reality that only he has, an understanding different from others, and so he wouldn't bother sharing it, he would be openly aggressive without meaning it, as if his view was so pure and innocent that he didn't realize he was sounding cruel From what we can glean from Mew's meager Personality it sounds a lot like Fi, a strong belief in values, lack of interest in shared values, tendency to share opinions harshly and even offensively, and even a certain elitism about his opinion INFPs are described as having a very inward focus, they have a need to have and reaffirm their own values in isolation from society, INFPs don't want to have their values influenced in the same way that they have no interest in influencing or impressing others different from Mewtwo (INTJ), which has the will and determination to put he's values in evidence, act assertively and impact reality from its personal values (balance between Te and Fi) Mew (INFP), in turn, it's much more concerned with living his own side he thinks is right, without worrying about influencing society or people (High Fi, Low Te), in society independently way, he seeks to distance himself from society in a moral way, keeping his values isolated and seeking to interact only perceptively
Biography
Mew is said to have the DNA of every single Pokémon contained within its body, allowing Mew to learn and use any attack. As demonstrated by its behavior in the first and eighth Pokémon movies, it shows signs of intelligence, curiosity, shyness, playfulness, and even selflessness. Mew is incredibly adaptable, able to travel freely in the air or underwater. As seen in Pokémon Snap and the Super Smash Bros. series, it can create a green, yellow, or pink orb of energy around itself for protection, although only the pink orb is seen in the latter. Reports found in Cinnabar Island's Pokémon Mansion note scientific expeditions that have sighted Mew in Guyana, South America, the place where it was first discovered. Since Mew can make itself invisible at will, very few people have knowingly seen it, leading some scientists to declare it extinct and most to assume it to be a mirage. It will only show itself to a person who is pure of heart.
