What personality type is Ella Lopez? Ella Lopez is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 729 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

I recently finished Lucifer and have tried so hard to pin dear sweet Ella's supposed Ne-Ti but logically, I can't, as all I can see is very Fi-Te, however, unlike Lucifer though (ESFP), she is very much a Ne dominant and that is a given. Anywho, enough of that, my analysis of Ella being an ENFP is here. Dominant (Ne): Ella is easily excited and energized by new ideas and possibilities in general, or most prominently, breaks in a new case. She also seemingly pulls together connections of completely unrelated ideas out of utmost thin air involving said case and is usually spot on or way off. She is very creative within everything she does (even with a different pun t-shirt each episode in whichever season) and is very fast talking to the point of spouting off several different things regardless of whether the topic is related or not. Auxiliary (Fi): Ella always follows her inner morals, no matter what the situation is and holds very high hopes in "the big guy" as she likes to call him because she feels like she has such a deep connection with him, whether or not she can look him in the eyes or even if he's just above (Fi). Ella is very in tune with her emotions and phenomenal at emotional comfort, constantly giving hugs to everyone, even to the point of being completely unaware of personal space (non-existent Fe within stack). In addition to this, when Ella finds out the truth about Lucifer, she is deeply hurt and feels betrayed by such a thing as if she did something wrong or she wasn't important enough to her friends to know, which ofc wasn't the case but due to Ella's strong internal morals and emotions, she was heartbroken by that fact. Furthermore, Ella always feels as if there is something wrong with her when it comes to dating because she only attracts "bad guys", ergo, she implants the past and details to her present feeling (Si-Grip before dialing back to Fi). She always believes in doing the right thing and when her brother Jay has been dragged into shady business, she refuses to look at the facts, allowing her internal feelings and attachment take over once again (Fi.) Tertiary (Te): Ella is exceptionally intelligent and rather than formulating her logic based on her own internal system (Ti), she observes what's in front of her externally before making logical judgement based on what is presented in front of her (Te). Ella is great at breaking down each injury, potential scenario and what could have possibly happened at each crime scene (Ne-Te) and tends to ramble often and act out what she is trying to explain (Ne-Te), such as, when she used Lucifer to explain her point by wrapping his arms round her momentarily (unaware of how Chloe could feel about the touch) and continued from there. At times, she can also come off as blunt, unintentionally, but blunt nonetheless and even becomes bossy and demanding under stress, as an example was at Chloe's bachelorette party. She tried to take the diplomatic approach (Fi) but when it didn't go too well, she resorted to her (Te). She also cares about being seen as intelligent and helpful, to which, she even wanted to to impress Marcus (Cain) with her findings but aggressively shut her down by insulting her which, again, poked at her sensitivities and she left, instantly upset (Fi). Inferior (Si): Though not Ella's strongest function, her Si is quite well developed as she is able to relay back each detail of the crime scene back to Chloe or whoever is expecting the analysis. Again, as stated before, she also falls into a (Si-Grip) when it comes to romance pondering on what could be wrong with this new guy in detail because of what happened several times before (Si-Grip). In short, Ella, imo, is the epitome of a healthy ENFP with well-developed Te and we adore her for it.

Biography

Ella Lopez is the Los Angeles Police Department's forensic scientist. A religious woman born and raised in Detroit, Ella moved to Los Angeles (at the wish of "Rae-Rae") after surviving a car crash and met Chloe Decker and Lucifer Morningstar.
