Personality

What personality type is Reki Kyan? Reki Kyan is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 739 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

I can understand where Fe voters might come from near the beginning of the first episodes. His decisions were catered to others, and not very much himself. I think that’s normal to question but I don’t believe he’s a ENTP nor has he ever used Ti like at all. In fact he values Te so much more throughout the episodes but I’ll start with Fi + hopefully dismiss the misconception to keep myself on track. Reki’s much more of a person who just cares for his friends and can take note of what’s good for them along with his internal values, he can push minor things / fears down for the sake of seeing his friends happy or if it was a more beneficial situation in his eyes where it would be fun than for general harmony nor based on values or a belief centered around everyone /overall/ which would be Fe. Fi users cherish the close bonds around them and it would be wrong to say they can’t take on cues or not feel worried by possible danger when it comes to the people close to them. Such as the notion that competing against Adam could lead to Langa getting hurt. Healthy Fi and ENFPS can also understand how their opinions or issues with things won’t be absolutely universal with everyone. Ne knowing not everything is so closeted like that. This all depends moreso on what they see as majorly important in the face of their personal values being threatened or what’s beyond their wants which is generally relative to Reki in the recent episode. Te-Fi is the exact reason why he’s getting so trapped by this whole situation as the reason he was hurt wasn’t due to the initial promise anymore. Reki keeps pushing his own view of what is a good skater in comparison to Langa which leads him that he isn't good enough to be there with him. They’re not a compatible match in his mind and he took it upon himself to leave his SS pin because of what was going on with him. Fi before Fe was put in that instance because that was what /his/ internal values were telling him was important in this moment than making a choice that would cater to a larger amount. Fe is more detached of that personal approach that Fi has by putting its focus on consideration of the group. This wasn’t the case for him which isn’t a bad thing. It was just more beneficial in Reki’s view to leave because his need of wanting to be more than the support role conflicted with everything else beyond any other external choice.. especially his care for Langa. This is why this was such a important moment for his realization even if his friend was succeeding that he couldn’t be happy for it. This prioritized Fi-Te. Fe-Ti would lean towards communicating as leaving like that would lessen the process in their relationship in actuality. Ti goes on its own understanding by what makes most sense and relies on accuracy in its own independent logic which is why you wouldn’t see a Ti user changing their mind on their thought process regardless of external opinions. They have trust in that system as long it’s precise to them and doesn’t consist of a logical fallacy or misguidance. This is one of the reasons he doesn’t use it, a Ti user would have seen that this won’t do anything at all especially one carried by Fe in its function stack. Things wouldn’t be resolved and this would seem to be useless. For further elaboration on his Te use because there’s a whole lot than just that. Reki’s Te is commonly shown in his visual demonstrations to Langa among other things. He never throughly explains the actual process and just uses his demonstrations as a base for Langa to learn from that. He also said it took him 2 months to do a Ollie to Langa as that’s less than the average and was proud of that>using facts for validation over why that is good which Te takes in. Ti wouldn’t care about external sources or put as much emphasis on facts but more on how did he pull it off or how it really works to Langa. Thus why he was amazed at first in the way Langa could nail a Ollie in two weeks. Take note that this was in the beginning of the episodes. Another example would be Reki saying this in comparison to Langa. Episode 5; "It took me 5 days to just get a railslide down" Reki’s shock at Langa’s much faster results which indicates Te again, not Ti. Reki could still do a railslide like Langa regardless of the days taken but what’s affecting him is the speed taken for him to do that>facts over analyzation and being taken at face value rather than at full since Te tends to focus at what’s objectively better and effective. When he was repetitively trying to do the same skateboard trick like Langa on the wall. He kept at it and again to hopefully get a result and when he failed. That showed him that he wasn’t as good just because he couldn’t do it like Langa which is again>using Langa as evidence to determine how good of a skater he is. (Cont)
