What personality type is Retsuko? Retsuko is an ISFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - so/sp - 926 in Enneagram, RLOAN in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.
It may not be obvious at first but she has SO MUCH Si and Fe! I can't deSiFer how somebody could miss it, especially after watching all three seasons. Despite having this boring, vanilla office job where she's stuck beneath an avalanche of paperwork every day, not to mention the **SHIIIIITTTYYYYYY BOSSSSSS!!!!!!** she's very reluctant to leave her job and often ignores her own desires and wants just like a 9. I could see why some stereotypists would vouch for 9w8 but if you think about it, not only is she compliant and meek in the face of conflict, she loses sight of the fact she was just belting out death metal about how much she despises these people forcing her to conform and fit this mold she wants to run away from and still follows their orders, sometimes overextending herself. Even though she's stood up for herself a few times, that doesn't necessarily mean she has an 8 wing cause not all 9w1s are total doormats. They're gut types in the anger triad so it's not so mind boggling they'd have had enough at some point. So the death metal is a prefect outlet for all the anger festering up in her gut!! ALL UP IN THE GUT ALL UP IN THE GUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT The Fe is blatantly obvious too. I mean MATRRRRIIIMONNYYYYY!!!!!!! That itself is HUGE SiFe energy. Traditions hold a very important place in her heart and she wants to follow societal standards, doesn't have a lot of her own strong Fi values and convictions that come up. She definitely has some desire to escape but she blows it off pretty quickly. She's aware she has other possibilities and a whole world out there but is slow to move into it. She cares a lot about how she's perceived. I mean just in the first episode we saw how humiliated she was over showing up to work in crocs LMAO
Biography
The title character. A hard-working and mild-mannered red panda who works a normal desk job as an accountant. However, she grows sick of her job and her coworkers at points, leading her to vent her frustrations into singing Death Metal.
