Aaron MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Aaron? Aaron is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sp/so - in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.

Plain and simple, we do not have information to type Aaron with complete accuracy. However, I will give an attempt. When I read the scriptures, I believe Aaron is an Enneagram 9. The best evidence for this assertion lies in the Golden Calf incident. Clearly, he was a man who was very devout to God. Yet, he made a false idol for the people of Israel at their demand. On the surface this appears to be contradictory behavior. However, the connecting factor is his core desire, which is peace. The biblical account of the Golden Calf incident does not give much details as to Aaron's true motives for doing so, but I believe that he listened to the people who wanted false idols to worship such that he could maintain the peace. To me this is the only logical possible explanation. He wanted peace for himself, and possibly what he thought would be peace for the congregation. Instead of standing up for what he believed in, he gave into peer pression in hopes of keeping the peace. He let his desire for peace keep him from doing the right thing. Of course, I do not know the mind of God but I believe one of the reasons that God spared Aaron after the incident (in addition to Moses' intercession Deuteronomy 10:20 ) was because God knew that Aaron was devout to him and that his disobedience in making the false idol was not due to his belief in false idols but was due to his giving into peer pressure. In any case, let us be grateful to God that He is forgiving and knows the hearts of all. Regarding the MBTI, I am not really sure how anyone can type him accurately considering the limited information we have. However, I think ESFJ/ENFJ is most likely because there is evidence of Fe dom. Statistically, ESFJ is more likely. Therefore, with the limited information we have, I am voting ESFJ. Stepping outside of typology, the Golden Calf incident was evidence that although Aaron was great at his role, he was not called to lead Israel's people like Moses was. Not because he was an Enneagram 9, but because he may have operated in the weakness of the Enneagram 9. Enneagram 9 or not, everyone can stand up for what they believe in. And in this Golden Calf incident, Aaron did not. But thanks be to God who is forgiving, and knows the hearts of all. Aaron is a wonderful character of the bible who did many great things. But he shows us that even the great prophets of old, much of humanity's best, made mistakes still. Because the bible is not about how great the prophets are but how great the God is. If you read all of this, thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!
