What personality type is Bjorn? Bjorn is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sx/sp - 784 in Enneagram, RLUEN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
I don't see much Ti in this guy. I do agree that stereotypically, he seems like a typical ESTP, but if you pay close attention to his actions throughout the movie, you'll notice his Fi coming through. ESFPs often make decisions based on their personal values and how things will impact others emotionally, and he does this multiple times, though it's most noticeable in one particular instance—BIG SPOILERS AHEAD. His death is a direct result of a decision driven by how the aliens have emotionally impacted him and others. He knows what he’s doing is probably reckless (like sticking an electrical device directly into an alien that wasn’t a threat at that moment), but he does it anyway because aliens killed his best friend. This isn’t particularly a pragmatic behavior. ESFPs are deeply in touch with their emotions. They are constantly processing their feelings and can struggle to maintain internal balance.
