Personality

What personality type is Ed Brown “Big Ed”? Ed Brown “Big Ed” is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - - 638 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.

He's self-serving and too wrapped up in his own values to even consider the collective. He's so in tune with his emotions that he ignores other people's point of view, which seems more like an indicator of Fi. He barely considers how most of his actions and words can effect others. Some have voted ESFJ, which sounds plausible because he's shown moments where he's duplicitous, manipulative and pretends to appeal to Rose's values, which seems like an unhealthy use of Fe. However, he has more of a self-centered approach so I'm more inclined to argue that he has an unhealthy handle of Fi: - Buys Rose lingerie to wear. I mean considering that he's seen what Rose and her family's life is like in that country, he could've at least bought something for her that was of sentimental value (Fe). You can even see that she's not too keen with it. Instead, he proceeds to call it a "gift", when its actually just for the fufillment of his own kinks. - He buys Rose a toothbrush, a bottle of Listerine and toothpaste, to then make an douchey attempt to say that she's got bad breath, which then prompts her to explain that she's got stomach ulcer. Moments of hypocrisy. Because of his distrust, he brings up that he doesn't feel comfortable that she doesn't share her past relationships to him, yet never told her that he cheated on his ex wife. After she states that its just a past memory that has no bearing on the present moment, his response was: "Okay, but then that's not fair to me."
