What personality type is Charlie Pace? Charlie Pace is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - so/sx - 629 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, in Socionics.

i definitely think charlie has a 2 fix over a 4 fix. yes, he does love validation for being different, but i think overall he just loves validation from anyone period. he is constantly looking for people he can protect and for people he thinks “need” him & he’s actually extremely possessive, especially towards claire. whenever claire is having a conversation with another man, he’s always there to interrupt lmao. he’s jealous of locke even before claire disowns him, almost in a “ this is my romantic rival” way lmfao. also, in s3, desmond talks to claire about fixing her roof and immediately charlie interrupts them & says that he’s the handy one and that he could do it. he wants so badly to be needed and to be claire’s number one person. he obviously wants to needed by claire throughout the show, along with aaron, that girl lucy (?) from his flashback in 1x15, and the group as a whole, which can be seen during his outburst in 1x07. he fears being useless & having no value to others. even when both him and his brother were addicts at the same time, charlie was the responsible one out of the two. he watched over him when he missed his daughters birth, comforted him when he talked about dropping her, and started writing more songs. when liam decided to get clean and left charlie, charlie yells the words “what about my family!” or something along those lines. charlie hates being abandoned or left by people, but not just because he wants their support, but because he wants to be their support system. he thrives off providing and being needed by people, and he’s extremely clingy. he also thinks he knows what’s best for the people he cares about (mostly claire and aaron), for example when he shoots ethan. his main priority is being the protector and caregiver for claire. i’m not saying his core type is necessarily 2w3, but i definitely think he has a strong 2 fix. he honestly could be a 2 core, i’ve thought about it, but he does show an almost equal amount of 6 traits as well so idk. but i definitely think his tritype is 269, in the order of 629 (for now). 9 fix because he’s good at denial and avoiding his problems & tbh he doesn’t show quite a lot of 8 or 1 traits. but yeah that’s my explanation for a 2 fix in his tritype or even a 2 core.

Biography

Charlie Hieronymus Pace was a survivor from the middle section of Oceanic Flight 815. Before the crash, he was the bassist and principal songwriter for the rock band Drive Shaft.
