What personality type is Xiao Xingchen? Xiao Xingchen is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - sp/so - 216 in Enneagram, in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Why 2w1? I personally see more of type 1 in him. He strives for moral perfection, which you can see in the way he fought tooth and nail for justice in the XY arc and in the way he cares so much about saving the good and eradicating the evil. One moment in which you can really see what type of person he is, is when his best friend SL was blinded. XXC went to baoshan sanren to beg for his eyes to be given to SL- not because he wanted to salvage the love and connection between the two of them, but because he wanted to make up for his role in bringing about the tragedy. This is his own form of integrity. Finally, what drives XXC to commit su*cide in the end is the sudden revelation that he has been doing 'evil' deeds unknowingly all along because of XY, even killing his best friend. I see this as a hugely dramatic and terrible version of an e1's basic fear being realised, and the guilt drives him to insanity.
